BSX falls 5.3% for the week

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged on Friday
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 3,173.04 today, with no trading activity on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
For the week, the index fell 5.33 per cent, driven by a 5.7 per cent fall in Butterfield Bank shares.
Insurer Allshores saw the week’s heaviest volume, as 43,746 of its shares changed hands and the price gained 0.2 per cent.
Volume for the week was 44,080 shares and turnover was $968,293.45.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield fell 21 cents, or 0.41 per cent, to close on $50.54 on the New York Stock Exchange.
