Butterfield shares fall 0.75% in New York

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 3,297.15 today after a day of no trading activity.
For the week, the index climbed 2.1 per cent, driven by a 2 per cent rise in the share price of Butterfield Bank, and a 5.5 per cent increase for insurer Allshores.
Trading volume was 22,801 shares for the five days of trading, while turnover totalled $947,441.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield fell 39 cents, or 0.75 per cent, to close on $51.32 on the New York Stock Exchange, on below-average volume of 135,283 shares.
