Butterfield shares slip 0.5% in New York

The BSX will be closed for the Bermuda Day holiday on Friday
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged on 3,540.87 after no shares were traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today. For the shortened trading week, the index was also unchanged.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank fell 30 cents, or 0.53 per cent, to close on $56.13 on the New York Stock Exchange as 145,617 shares changed hands.
The BSX will be closed for the Bermuda Day public holiday on Friday.
