Butterfield lifts BSX to 2.8% gain

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 85.19 points
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 2.44 per cent today to 3,571.75 as two listed companies traded.
Shares of Butterfield Bank gained $1.50, or 2.8 per cent, on the trading of 400 shares, to close on $55.50.
Devonshire Industries slumped $2.20, or 33.8 per cent, to end the day at $4.30, as 1,600 of its shares changed hands.
For the week, the index gained 30.89 points, or 0.86 per cent, as four stocks traded. The largest climber over the five days was Bermuda Aviation Services, which gained 40.7 per cent.
BSX turnover for the day was $29,080 and for the week, $703,686.
Today, Butterfield’s US-listed shares climbed 34 cents, or 0.59 per cent, to close on $57.91 as 75,643 shares changed hands.
