Butterfield shares jump 2.7% on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed more than 2.4 per cent
Butterfield Bank stock worth $513,000 traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today, as the bank’s share price climbed 2.7 per cent.
The $1.50 gain left Butterfield’s share price at $57 at the close. The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 86.35 points, or 2.42 per cent, to close on 3,660.01, with Butterfield the only stock to trade.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 16 cents, or 0.28 per cent, to close at $58 on the New York Stock Exchange as 138,907 shares changed hands.
