Allshores’ share price rose 2 per cent on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today. The insurer gained 50 cents to close at $25.51 as 5,000 shares changed hands.

With Allshores the only stock to trade, The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 4.9 points, or 0.13 per cent, to close at 3,705.40. BSX turnover totalled $127,550.

The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank fell 33 cents, or 0.56 per cent, to close at $58.60 on the New York Stock Exchange on above-average volume of 253,950 shares.
