BAS Group declares special dividend

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained at 3,948.33 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Only Allshores experienced trading with 1,077 shares changing hands to finish at $29, price unchanged. The turnover was $31,233.
In a filing with the BSX, the BAS Group said its board of directors declared a total dividend of 10 cents per share on July 23. This represented a dividend of 3 cents per share and a special dividend of 7 cents per share to shareholders of record on August 14, to be paid on or around September 15.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield Butterfield Bank jumped 17 cents or 0.27 per cent to close at $62.03 with 158,396 trading.
