Argus launches online training programme
The Argus Group has launched an online training programme for its employees called Argus U.
Argus U consists of more than 10,000 courses and new content will be added on a regular basis.
“Argus U takes a holistic approach to employee training by offering a range of courses that include leadership and management, writing and time management as well as health and wellness classes such as work-life balance and understanding your blood pressure,” the company stated.
“Argus employees can register for any number of courses and complete each course at their leisure.”
Kellianne Smith, head of Global Human Resources and Organisational Development at the Argus Group, said: “We are always looking for ways to assist our employees to grow professionally.
“While this certainly includes departmental and skills-based training, at Argus, we believe it also includes more general training, such as honing interpersonal skills and developing a broad range of knowledge.
“Argus U offers our employees a wealth of resources to better themselves personally and professionally and we are pleased by the initial interest and level of participation we're seeing from the staff. The diverse class offerings benefit our multigenerational workforce ranging from recent graduates to seasoned managers.”
Argus U also offers a number of certificate courses available to employees at a discounted rate. These include PHR (Professional in Human Resources), CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), Prince2 Certification, and CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
