Boxer Adrian Roach is poised to make his return to the ring with a fight scheduled in America next month.

The fighter is hoping to keep active in 2026 as he attempts to maintain his unbeaten professional record, which now stands at 3-0, and he his hoping his desire will catch the right eyes in the industry as he prepares to take the next step.

“My ideal 2026 is to end the year with a 6-0 record, so that will require me to fight four times this year,” Roach said.

“This upcoming fight will be my second consecutive one overseas fight. Hopefully we can get one in Bermuda sometime soon, but for now we're just going to stay active so we can continue running the ball.

“Hopefully we can get this fight on, I can take a week or two off, let my body recover and then we can look forward to doing my first six-round fight and hopefully it will be on home soil.”

As you start to make your way in the professional ranks, you can be asked to fight at short notice and against an unknown opponent, which is the situation Roach faces less than a month before the bout in Greensboro, North Carolina, on March 21.

“We’ve yet to confirm our opponent,” Roach said. “We had a really good guy that was first proposed to us and we accepted as we were trying to challenge ourselves off the bat, but he actually ended up turning down the fight.

“So we’re in the process of looking for a new opponent but the promotion is well known in North Carolina and the night will be headlined by a home town fighters so it should do really well.

“I definitely want to expand my reach as far as supporters. North Carolina is a direct flight to Bermuda, so I want to reach a new audience of people as well as staying active in the ring, building my fight record up and accepting challenges really.”

As with most boxers, Roach never stops training but he is already ratcheting up his workouts and is confident that he will enter the ring in top shape.

“Right now we’re training two to three times a day, managing our load, preparing well with rest and adequate recovery,” he said.

“The training has been extremely hard and we’re now back sparring, getting ready for this fight and making sure we're over-prepared. As soon as we find out opponent, we’ll lock in and start doing things specific to a game plan.

“But year-round the work doesn’t stop and no matter who the opponent is and his skill level, we train the same for everybody. We don't underestimate any opponent, so at the moment we're working on basic fundamentals and sharpening up the tools that I have. By the time fight night comes around and we get a confirmed opponent, we can just select which ones we need.”

Roach will be the only Bermudian fight on the North Carolina card and is keen to hear from anybody will to sponsor him as he continues on his professional path.

“If anyone would like to align their business with myself and my team, we have some really great packages available,” Roach said.

“You can contact me at adriroach.comand I'm looking forward to working with some local brands and companies.”
