Two more charged with shooting in Warwick

Two men charged in connection with a daylight shooting last week appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.Jukai Burgess, 20, and Grayson Swan, 19, were charged with robbery, use of a firearm after committing an indictable offence and handling a firearm.They were also charged with the use of a firearm with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.The offences are alleged to have taken place during a robbery on Middle Road, Warwick, on Friday.Neither defendant entered a plea because the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.Mr Burgess, from St George’s, and Mr Swan, from Warwick, both appeared at an online hearing of the court, held through the Zoom app.Magistrate Tyrone Chin remanded both in custody until June 1.On Wednesday, Daneko Cann-Hayward, 22, was charged in the same incident with robbery, use of a firearm after committing an indictable offence and handling a firearm.
