Warwick teen denies stealing pills, alcohol

A teenager denied theft and trespassing charges yesterday.Aurelien Corona-Valett, 18, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to the theft of Adderall prescription pills and three bottles of alcohol after he trespassed at a Pembroke home.He also pleaded not guilty to an alternative charge of an attempt to enter the home.The incident is alleged to have happened on February 28.The court heard that the prescription pills and alcohol had a total value of $540.Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released Mr Corona-Valett, from Warwick, on $2,000 bail and adjourned the case until July 13.• It is The Royal Gazette’s policy not to allow comments on stories regarding court cases.
