Woman denies bank theft

A 23-year-old woman denied stealing $35,000 from Capital G bank during an appearance in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Justina Wilson pleaded not guilty to the offence, which allegedly took place in Pembroke on September 24.

Ms Wilson, of South Terrace in Pembroke, was represented by defence lawyer Kenneth Savoury.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner said the matter would be mentioned again on January 7. He released the defendant on $5,000 bail with one surety.
