A 20-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with carrying out two armed robberies.Curtis Mallory, of Swansville Drive, Warwick, was not required to enter a plea and will be dealt with in Supreme Court for the alleged offences.He was accused of attempting to rob cash from Jason DeMello and brandishing a firearm in Smith’s on Sunday. He faced the same charges in relation to an incident in Devonshire on Tuesday when the alleged victim was Alex Travasso.Mr Mallory was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on January 21.
