A senior social worker appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday in connection with a charge of obtaining property through deception.Kennette Robinson, who has worked as acting director of the Department of Child and Family Services, pleaded not guilty to the charge on August 27.According to Crown counsel Tawana Tannock, the offence was said to have occurred on June 30, 2010.Magistrate Khamisi Tokumbo adjourned the matter until February 22, releasing Mrs Robinson on bail.
