A 23-year-old man denied plotting to import cannabis when he appeared at Magistrates’ Court.Kenton Butterfield-Smith must be dealt with by the Supreme Court for the alleged offence, which is said to have occurred between a date unknown and April 19 this year.Prosecutor Larissa Burgess did not give any information about the allegations, but did not object to Mr Butterfield-Smith being bailed.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner extended $10,000 bail on the condition that the defendant surrenders his travel documents and reports to the police once a week.He must return to court on November 8 for an administrative hearing.
