A Pembroke teen has been accused in Magistrates’ Court of assaulting a police officer to evade detention.Troy Hewey, 17, of Perimeter Lane, denied the offence, which allegedly occurred in the Arboretum Park in Devonshire at 1.25pm on Monday.Mr Hewey was remanded into custody overnight, after Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner instructed court services to investigate if he could be monitored using an electronic tracking bracelet.He is to return to court this morning.
