Man handled pistol

A 27-year-old St George’s man has admitted handling a firearm without lawful authority.
Rickai Dickinson, of Duke of Clarence Street, pleaded guilty to handling a 45 calibre European American Armory Corporation pistol on May 5 2011.
He denied possessing four bullets on the same date and that charge will lie on the file, not to be proceeded with by prosecutors.
Dickinson was due to stand trial yesterday at Supreme Court. In the light of his guilty plea, he will be sentenced on Thursday.
