Prison for man after Police caught him driving while suspended for the third time

A St George’s man was jailed for a month after he was caught driving while disqualified for the third time.Keijon Steede, 29, admitted the offence in Magistrates’ Court.He told Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner he didn’t know when he was to have come back on the road.Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Cindy Clarke said Steede was banned from the roads until January of 2013 because he’d been driving while impaired.He was caught driving while disqualified on October 22, 2010, and January 10, 2011, before being pulled over most recently on May 8. Mr Warner sentenced him to 30 days’ imprisonment.
