Third man charged over alleged Good Friday attack

A third man has been charged in connection with a machete attack at Southampton Rangers on Good Friday.Gavaska Lodge Bascome, of Pembroke, was not required to enter a plea as the charges must go before the Supreme Court.The 17-year-old was accused in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with wounding Joshua Place on April 6 with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.He was further accused of possessing a bladed article, namely a knife, on the same day.The teenager was remanded in custody by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner.Twenty-one-year-olds Sergio Woolridge Robinson and D’Angelo Clarke were charged last week with wounding Mr Place with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a machete.They were released on $15,000 bail with a like surety each and ordered to reappear in court for mention on July 13.
