Two more teenagers charged with violently attacking man in front of sons

Two more men have been charged in the violent robbery of a father in front of his children over the Cup Match holiday.Judah Roberts, 17, of Hilltop Drive, Hamilton, and Sanchea Douglas, 17, of Curving Avenue, Pembroke, were charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with robbery and causing grievous bodily harm to 33-year-old Kevin Abrahams.The teenagers did not have to enter a plea as the case will go before the Supreme Court.Three others were charged in connection with the case earlier this week.A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, pleaded not guilty to the charges in Family Court yesterday.Kyle Daniels Smith, 17, of Warwick and Sergio Woolridge-Robinson, 21, of Pembroke were charged in Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, with the same offences.Mr Abrahams was attacked and robbed of a gold ring with diamonds and a BlackBerry Curve cellphone, together valued at $1,300.Crown counsel Tawana Tannock told the court that he is still in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital being treated for injuries received in the August 4 attack.Magistrate Tyrone Chin remanded both Mr Roberts and Mr Douglas into custody.The case will come before the court for mention on August 17.
