A 30-year-old yesterday denied sexually assaulting a 66-year-old woman and inflicting her bodily harm.The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also denied a charge of trespassing.Prosecutor Susan Mulligan told Magistrates’ Court that the defendant entered a dwelling on Union Street, Pembroke on September 1, 2009 as a trespasser, and inflicted actual bodily harm to the victim.He is alleged to have sexually assaulted the senior citizen on the same date.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the man on $5,000 bail with one surety on the condition that he wear an electronic monitoring device 24 hours a day.He was ordered to return to court on October 19 for mention.
