Man apologies for swearing at police

A 36-year-old man pled guilty to using threatening words towards police officers at the Esso gas station in Hamilton in Magistrates’ Court.On November 10, Kareem Gibbons of Kings Gate, Pembroke, was approached by officers at the gas station at 3.55am and went into a tirade during a conversation with them.Mr Gibbons was quoted as saying:”F**k you guys, go lock up the guys killing my brothers.”Asked by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner if he had anything to say, the defendant apologised for his actions. “I was a little bit intoxicated and sincerely apologise for my actions on that night.”Mr Warner issued a fine of $500.
