Four people have appeared in Magistrates’ Court for possessing cannabis with intent to supply.Tracey and Robert MacRonald were charged with Susanne Jones and Blair Orlando following arrests made at a private home in Pembroke on May 18.Mr and Ms MacRonald, of Pigeon Rock Lane, Pembroke, were jointly charged with knowingly allowing the misuse of controlled drugs at their premises.Mr MacRonald, 41, further denied possessing cannabis, a silver grinder, scissors and a digital scale. Ms MacRonald, 43, denied possessing cannabis.Ms Jones, 50, of Cove Point Lane, Pembroke, and Mr Orlando, 32, of Spice Hill, Warwick, also denied possessing the controlled drug.All four defendants elected a trial in Magistrates’ Court. Ms MacRonald broke down in tears when advised that they would all be released on $5,000 with one surety each.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set the case down for trial on April 5, 2013.
