Two men have been charged with murdering David Clarke on April 17 last year.The 26-year-old victim was shot dead at the junction of Bandroom Lane and North Shore Road, Devonshire. He was riding his motorcycle to his nearby home after leaving an event at the Mid Atlantic Boat Club, according to police, who said he was targeted by two men who were also on a motorcycle.Yesterday, Jahkeo LeShore, 19, and Darrion Simons, 31, were charged with premeditated murder and using a firearm to commit the killing. They did not have to enter pleas during the brief hearing at Magistrates’ Court, as the matter must be dealt with by the Supreme Court.No details about the case were given by prosecutor Susan Mulligan.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr LeShore, of Devon Springs Road, Devonshire, and Mr Simons, of Crane Lane, Pembroke, into custody. They must return to court for an administrative hearing on January 3.No members of the public were present for the hearing — just a handful of police officers and prison guards.
