A Southampton man alleged to have sent his pregnant ex-girlfriend text messages threatening to kill her was yesterday remanded in custody.Makonnen Lowe was charged in Magistrates’ Court with threatening to kill Jenna Butterfield between February 5 and 6.The 27-year-old was not required to enter a plea as the charges must be heard in Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded him Mr Lowe in custody until a court mention on February 25.
