A former national team footballer was charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with conspiring with others to import cocaine to Bermuda.Dennis Zuill, 35, from Pembroke, was not required to enter a plea because the matter is indictable, and must be heard in the Supreme Court.The offence allegedly took place between an unknown date and July 26, 2012, and involved 500g of the controlled drug.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded Mr Zuill into custody until next week, when the matter is set to be mentioned again.
