Second man to face drug conspiracy charges

A 38-year-old was yesterday charged with conspiring to import cocaine into Bermuda.Dennis Thomas, of Warwick, was charged with conspiring with Dennis Zuill and others not before the court to import the controlled drug between a date unknown and July 26, 2012.Mr Zuill, a former national team footballer, was charged with the offence last week.Neither man was required to enter a plea as the charge is indictable and must be heard before Supreme Court.Mr Thomas was released on $10,000 bail with one surety and ordered to report to the Hamilton Police Station twice a week. He was also ordered to surrender his travel documents.The case was set down for mention on March 21.
