Bail granted to four teens who deny injuring a man

After spending more than three months in jail, a group of teens who deny causing grievous bodily harm have been granted bail by Magistrates’ Court.

Corey Bean, of Sandys; Taj Brown, of Devonshire, and Jachael Gibson, of Warwick, all aged 19, as well as 18-year-old Azha Dowling, of Somerset, denied all charges against them at their January court appearance.

Yesterday, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo gave the four bail of $7,000 each, with one like surety.

They must wear electronic monitoring and abide by a police curfew, as well as having no contact with one another. A trial date will be set next month.
