A Warwick man denied unlawful assault when he appeared at Magistrates’ Court yesterday.Stuart Lottimore, 46, of Tamarind Vale, was charged with committing the offence against Yvonne Grey-Lottimore on Saturday.The defendant admitted a second charge of making threatening gestures to Ms Grey-Lottimore on the same date.The court heard he was accused of holding a knife to her throat and saying: “I hate you so much, I could cut you.”Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set a summary trial date for July 26 and granted bail in the amount of $2,000, telling Lottimore to stay away from Ms Grey-Lottimore.
