Bus driver denies intruding on privacy of young girls

A Hamilton man denied intruding on the privacy of two young girls during two separate incidents, both of which occurred on a bus.The 52-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the two charges in Magistrates’ Court yesterday. He has been suspended from his job as a bus driver.None of the people involved can be named because of legal reasons.The incidents allegedly occurred almost a year apart, the first on September 18, 2012 and the second on July 8, 2013.Acting Magistrate Maxanne Anderson gave the man $2,000 bail with a like surety. He was ordered not to be alone with any girl under 16 as a condition of his bail.The case was adjourned until September 12.
