Burglary suspect in court

Dame Louis Brown-evans court building

A burglary suspect has appeared in court accused of breaking into six properties and stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery and electronic goods.

Paul Johnson, 30, is alleged to have broken into homes in Pembroke and Devonshire between May 24 and June 16 and taken televisions, watches, an X-Box, a PlayStation and more than $30,000 worth of jewellery.

Mr Johnson did not enter pleas to the charges because the case will be heard in the Supreme Court.

He was remanded in custody until August 7 when he will reappear before the court again.
