A Southampton man has appeared in Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of Royal Bermuda Regiment sergeant Dejion Stange-Simmons.
Kenneth Leverock, 25, represented by Elizabeth Christopher, was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in Supreme Court. He remained silent throughout proceedings.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded Mr Leverock into custody, sending the matter to Supreme Court for the session starting April 1.
Mr Stange-Simmons, 26, was found dead in a Southampton home on November 26 last year.
