A 61-year-old woman has denied causing serious injuries to a man by driving carelessly.

Shirlene Rayner is alleged to have caused grievous bodily harm to Kamal Bashir on August 31, last year, on Somerset Road in Sandys.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge in Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was released on bail pending her trial.

Ms Rayner will return to court on March 15 when a trial date is expected to be set.
