Men charged with wounding with intent

Two Southampton men have been accused of wounding another man.

Appearing in Magistrates’ Court this morning, Jahki Dillas and DeJean Smith were charged with unlawfully wounding Delgardo Pinto with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in Warwick on June 13.

Mr Dillas was also charged with unlawfully assaulting Mr Delgardo on the same date.

Mr Smith and Mr Dillas, both 31, were not required to enter a plea because the charges are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set the matter for the March arraignment session and granted both defendants $7,000 bail with a like surety on the condition they have no contact with Mr Delgardo.
