Mother hits man with tin bottle
A woman who admitted hitting the father of her child with a water bottle was fined $350 yesterday.
Lakisha Brangman, 45, from Hamilton Parish, pleaded guilty to assault in Magistrates’ Court.
She went to the Rubis Gas Station, on South Road, Warwick, at about 6.15pm on November 22, 2019. The complainant was working the cash register at the time.
The court heard that Brangman was annoyed with the complainant after she had tried to talk to him about money for their daughter and he had walked away.
She struck him on his head and shoulder with a tin water bottle as he walked into a back office.
Brangman was arrested by police after they viewed CCTV footage of incident.
