Two appear in court charged with attempted murder

Two men appeared in court on Friday charged with an attempted murder in St David’s last week.

Daquan Williams, 25, and Delun Fishenden, 22, appeared in Magistrates’ Court in connection with the shooting of Isaiah Creighton, 22.

They also faced an alternative allegation that they shot Mr Creighton with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The pair were in addition charged with the use of a firearm to commit in an indictable offence.

The incident is alleged to have happened on August 27 on Orange Hole Road, St George’s.

Neither of the defendants entered a plea as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson remanded the two, both of no known address, in custody until October 1.
