A St George’s man was yesterday remanded in custody after he was charged with gun and drug offences.

Gregory Outerbridge, 40, was charged in Magistrates Court with possession of a black Taurus revolver, six rounds of ammunition and cannabis with intent to supply in an increased penalty zone in Southampton on May 26 this year.

He was further charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply in an increased penalty zone in St George’s on or about the same date, along with possessing drug equipment, specifically a digital scale.

Mr Outerbridge was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson remanded Mr Outerbridge in custody until July 1, when he is set to appear in the Supreme Court.
