Man charged with robbery at Ice Queen

A man who allegedly stole from a Paget restaurant appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Michael Simons, 27, from Sandys, pleaded not guilty to robbing Glen Duarte, an employee at Ice Queen, on January 25 and chose to have a trial in Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrate Tyrone Chin adjourned the case until February 20 and released Mr Simons on $2,500 bail.

Mr Simons was also ordered to attend Hamilton Police Station twice a week, give up all travel documents and to not contact Mr Duarte or visit Ice Queen.
