Dangerous driving case goes to Supreme Court

A motorist is accused of injuring a man in Sandys more than three years ago.

Angelo Simons, 30, was charged with causing Jeffrey Patterson grievous bodily harm by driving dangerously along Malabar Road when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The alleged incident occurred on December 28, 2021.

Mr Simons, from Sandys, was not required to plea yesterday as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case to the June arraignments session and released Mr Simons on $5,000 bail with a surety until that time.
