Man accused of double murder remanded
A man was charged today with the murders of two people after an incident at Legends Bar in Sandys this month.
Tyrese Lee was accused of murdering Jasmin Smith, 32, and 29-year-old Shaquan Williams when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.
The 23-year-old, from Pembroke, was also charged with wounding Kishon Zuill, Jaih Santucci and Nzhari Phillips with intent to do grievous bodily harm, as well as five counts of using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.
Mr Lee, who allegedly committed the offences on May 1 at Legends Bar in Sandys, was not required to enter pleas today as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Magistrate Craig Attridge adjourned the case to the July arraignments session and remanded Mr Lee in custody until that time.
