Man fined for unregistered jet ski

A man caught operating an unregistered jet ski has been fined $150 in Magistrates’ Court.

Jah’Dimon Parkes, 24, admitted the offence when he appeared in court yesterday.

The court heard that members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coastguard saw Parkes, from Pembroke, and another man aboard the vessel near Cobbler’s Cut off Spanish Point on July 21.

Officers issued a ticket after seeing that the jet ski was unregistered.

Magistrate Maria Sofianos ordered that Parkes pay the full fine by today.
