Men admit parking, traffic offences in court

A driver was left with a steep bill after acknowledging responsibility for thousands of dollars in unpaid parking tickets in Magistrates’ Court.

Kordell De La Chevotierre, 29, admitted the parking offences, which stretch from 2020 to this year.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson fined De La Chevotierre, from St George’s, a total of $2,775.

Separately, Iyahndae Brangman-Wright, 21, admitted riding an unlicensed bike.

Ms Anderson fined Brangman-Wright, from Warwick, $250 and added four points to his licence.

Brangman-Wright, who committed the offence on April 4, came to court with 14 existing points.

Ms Anderson disqualified him from driving all vehicles for nine months, based on points accumulated.
