Man charged with New Year’s attempted burglary

A Hamilton Parish man appeared in Magistrates’ Court today accused of an attempted burglary on New Year’s Day.
Temasgan Furbert, 39, was charged with one count of attempting to enter a home in Radnor Drive, Hamilton Parish, as a trespasser with others not before the court with intent to steal.
Mr Furbert was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson remanded Mr Furbert in custody until February 2, when the matter is set to be mentioned in the higher court.
