Drug charges against Smiths man dropped
Charges against a man accused of drug offences have been dropped after the Crown elected not to proceed with the case.
Judah Roberts, from Smith’s, was charged last year with possessing cannabis resin and drug equipment on November 14, 2022.
However, during an appearance in the Supreme Court yesterday, prosecutors submitted a nolle prosequi, halting the case against Judah Roberts.
As a result of the submission, Puisne Judge Alan Richards formally discharged him from the matter, stating that his prosecution was at an end.
