Man caught speeding twice in two days gets banned from roads

A man caught speeding the day after his previous ticket has been disqualified from riding all vehicles for six months.

Benjamin Howland, 30, admitted both charges when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

Howland, from Sandys, travelled at 69km/h on December 26 and at 63km/h one day later.

Magistrate Craig Attridge fined Howland a total of $720 for the offences, added 12 points to his licence and banned him from the roads based on points accrued.
