Court drops charges in injury case
Prosecutors have opted against pursuing a case against a man accused of inflicting injury on another man.
Densil Gibbons, from Devonshire, denied causing grievous bodily harm by stabbing Jachael Gibbons in the chest when he appeared before the Supreme Court in May.
Mr Gibbons was alleged to have committed the offence in September 2023, but prosecutors entered a nolle prosequi, or request for an indefinite adjournment, for the case in yesterday in the Supreme Court.
As a result of the submission, Puisne Judge Alan Richards discharged Mr Gibbons from court.
