Woman set to return to court over wounding charge
A woman will return to the Supreme Court in June after she pleaded guilty to wounding another woman last month.
Nyree Turner, 22, admitted the charge when she appeared in the higher court on Thursday.
The incident, which impacted Aliyah McCaskie, happened on March 20.
The extent of Ms McCaskie’s injuries were not read out in court.
Puisne Judge Alan Richards ordered a social inquiry report for Turner, from Southampton, and adjourned her case until June 5 for potential sentencing. He extended her $7,500 bail until that date.
