Woman denies two counts of assault on a child, aged 13

A woman was charged today with two counts of assault on a minor.
The 32-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to assaulting the 13-year-old girl.
The incidents were alleged to have happened between September 1 and October 31 last year in Warwick.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case until May 25 and released the woman, from Warwick, on $2,000 bail.
She ordered the woman to stay away from the alleged victim and her home.
