BCB in search for new coaches

Bermuda Cricket Board are looking for coaches to help train the next generation of national cricketers.

The governing body want coaches to oversee the boys' Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19 sides, as well as the Girls' Development Squad and the senior women's team.

Applicants must hold either an ECB Level One or Level Two coaching certificate, and be prepared to work with the teams both on, and off, the Island.

According to the BCB, the coaches "are required to have a sound knowledge of the game with playing experience, good written and oral communication skills, and a willingness to learn the latest video analysis techniques."

As well as looking for qualified coaches, the BCB will be running a Level One coaching course at the end of the month so that anyone who is interested can take their first steps along the way to becoming a coach.

The course will begin on Monday, November 29 (6 pm-9 pm), with two more evening sessions on Wednesday and Thursday of that week, and will conclude with an all day session on Saturday, December 4 (9.30am-4.30pm).
