Bermuda bats struggle
Bermuda v England update 6
from Arnos Vale, St. Vincent
Bermuda 24-4 (after 11 overs)
Bermuda were in deep trouble at 24 for four after 11 overs as they found themselves struggling to chase down England's total of 286 at Arnos Vale this afternoon.
And their plight hasn't been helped by news that skipper and top batsman Irving Romaine won't be able to take his place in the batting line-up after suffering mild concussion and blurred vision when he fell on his head while fielding.
Bermuda got through the first five overs unscathed, taking the total to 13, before Dean Minors was sent back for five, caught by Kevin Pietersen at mid-off off Liam Plunkett.
Only two more runs were added before OJ Pitcher (2) began his walk back to the pavilion, caught a mid-on by Jon Lewis off James Anderson.
The pace barrage continued and in the ninth over Stephen Outerbridge (7) lobbed a simple catch to Pietersen off Anderson to make it 23 for three.
Kwame Tucker's dismissal for two, clean bowled by Jon Lewis in the 11th over with the score on 24 left Clay Smith and David Hemp with a mountain to climb as they attempted to repair the wreckage.
